Our Story,

The company was started in 2010 by Hans Schneemann from a 200m2 factory in Mahogany Ridge, Pinetown, KZN. Hans had been in the timber industry for 13 years before starting Eco Timber Traders and gained valuable experience working for some of the SA timber industry’s most prominent timber agents and merchants. In 2011 Rob Chubb joined Hans as a partner and brought with him 18 years of previous experience in the hardwood industry. Read more.
